yes i need help, i am sending my xbox to xbox repair center tomorrow, because i keep getting the same message about cant read disc, may be dirty or damaged, and make sure it is an xbox game or dvd or audio cd. it kept getting worse, so i bought a lens cleaner and that finished it off. now i get no games to work. and i was right in the middle of playing star wars knights of the old republic II the sith lords. probably about 16-18 hours in. the save games are about 1600 blocks and my memory card only holds about 500 blocks, how can i backup my save games before the inevitable memory wipe from the repair center?? any options at all i can try. thanks
I once had the same problem and I was also playing kotr. theyre not related just thought id throw in the fact I lost my week long game. Now to the point, the reason why mine was freezing was because the fan in the back was dirty and it was in my theatre cabinet. easy to fix get a can of compressed air and clean that fan out. At least try it and let me know how it goes.
