Spent several hours yesterday editing a recent birthday party video with Studio 9 and when I burned the video it was pixelated and poor quality. My source video is coming from a Canon ZR200 DV camera via Dazzle 80 into my PC via USB. I've done this before with great success and great video as the results. I don't understand what happened to me yesterday. I repeated the time consuming process (rendering/compiling,etc) using another brand of blank DVD media but got the same poor results. I chose "Best Quality" but did not get it. Any possibility that low humidity in the computer room is the demon? I fed the same video into my Philips DVDR75 and got a great (unedited) DVD so the source video is not suspect. Anyone have similar experiences.

How long is the video?
Double check the render options.
Do a few short scenes for testing. (then you won't have to wait hours to see if its fixed) Also, 'burn' to your harddrive, not a disc, then you can check it before wasting a disc.

Thanks for the feedback Adder. The video is about 18 minutes. I thought I had set all the rendering options to give me a "Best Quality" DVD video but I'll go back and check.

Here is an update to my "pixelation" dilemma: recapturing a smaller portion of the birthday video, followed by rendering, compiling, the recaptred video is OK. I really believe the problem is related to exterior interference.
