HELP I have drop my PSP and its doest start anymore

First my psp was a 1.5 firmware and it was not running when i drop it on the floor.
Now all he does is activate the power up led and nothin happen.. No sound or image. And i can't turn it off. I have to remove the battery to turn it off... I have bought a new one in some store and i have switch the mother board and it is working. Anyone know what's happening???

nop, but if uve got the reciept jus send it back to sony...might not get the same firmware though...

u sure u dropped it , sounds like a bricked psp to me , have u put some homebrew or game on ya psp be4 this happned?

was v1.5 (got stolen)new ceramic white 2.6---> downgraded to 1.5 :D

Swapped the mother board! And ur askin for help on why it wont go?
Why didnt u just swap the psp,s and take the ****ed up one back to the shop?? I smell fish.:D

ya, but now a got a freaking version 2.6 firmware and I cant do shit with that.. I swear that it is after it was dropped on the floor that he begin to freeze

The same thing happened to me today so he's telling the truth. I dropped my psp when I was opening my car door and now it will turn on but there is nothing on the screen or no sounds. The green light stays on and the orange lights on the left blink. I have to pull the battery out to turn it off.

I am running custom firmware, but I dont' know what version. when I hold down the R button I can access recovery mode, but I don't know what to do from here. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!
