converting RAR files to ISO

hi , can anyone help , i have bought homebrew games and some are RAR files , i know how to put ISO files onto memory stick but iam having problems with RAR files , do they need to be converted to ISO , if so how on earth do you do it.

Its possible they are already an ISO file. (if its a solitary winrar file)


to check,
right click on the winrar file, select properties, then choose the 'archive' tab.

if it says iso 9660 archive .....then your fine.

If they are in multiple form (r.01, r.02 etc) then chose the first file and use winrar to extract to a complete ISO.

* click on first file (r.01 etc) and select extract to ISO

ok got it , but now when it gets to 78% it stops and says no room left , can these files be shrunk , as i have heard of that

Are you extracting the files onto your hard drive, or are you putting the Iso file on the PSP memory card?

Ah,

well it depends what Iso it is there are some ripkits, which lessen the size of the game iso.

You can also edit the iso yourself, but before you attempt that, you'd be better off reading some guides.

or easier, get a larger Duo
