How do I burn a PS2 game to a DVD and play it on my slim PS2?

I've been looking every where for Legacy of Kain: Defiance for the PS2 and couldn't find it. So I just downloaded it. Now I have a a bunch of rar. files and I need to know how to put them onto a DVD and play it in my slim PS2. Don't get the wrong idea,i'm not a thief!. I've been looking for this game for a long damn time! It's my favorite game. So if anybody knows how to put this game onto a DVd so I can play it again,FINALLY!!! Please let me know. Also,would I need a modchip? If there's a way around that let me know that as well.

use WinRAR to extract the rar files...and yes, you need a modchip

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

Thanks, Now I need to know how to change these rar files into iso's. Any advice?

winRAR will extract whatever files are inside the rar files into whatever image format it is in.

after you use WinRAR and extract te file(s) inside then take the next step. Most of the time it will already be an ISO.
If it is not and you have the games actual files like SLUS,system,data and so on then just find a guide for rebuilding an ISO which i am sure they have here.
Get someone with tha game to post up the file order for you so that you can do this step.
