Hi can anyone help me at all please?

I am using dvd lab pro and i am trying to create my own dvd from avi files.
i used winavi to convert these avi files to mpeg2, i made sure i was using the correct resolution 352x 288 and everything else that lab seems to pick up on.

Now when i put them into dvd lab i can put them in without demuxing them but when i do that the audio is out of sync, so i demuxed them and they are still coming up out of sync, the audio time does not match the video time.
i have tried using the audio delay tool on dvd lab but still to no avail,it also tells me to close GOPS in my encoder but i am unsure on what these are,and there does not seem to be a option in winavi to do this.
Please, maybe someone could give me a few pointers on how to resolve this problem. any help would be greatly appreciated.

can't help you with the sync problems, as I am battling along the same lines,
but go get CCE and check out the various guides for useing it (there's a good one on this site) it's part of the video encoding sttings
or failing that try TMPGEnc express as it should do most of it for you.
Prefer CCE myself, but TMP is fine

hi there
i am still having problems, i cant even download the trial version of CCE, when i try to install it, it never installs all the files therefore i cannot open it up.

Can someone maybe tell me the best encoder to use and also the best settings to use for converting AVI to mpeg2.

Thanks
