Hi All,

I used Easy CD Creator Platinum to burn a VCD, when I tried to play it on my Sony DVD player (Which normally reads CD-R's) It recognised the VCD, but would not playback, it kept giving me the message "The CD Is Dirty", would anybody know the meaning of this and how I could go about fixing it.

What burn speed did you use?? Also, you should try other burning software like nero or VCDEasy!

Hi,

My DVD/CDR can go upto a speed of 12x but I burn at 8x. is that OK.?

I am sceptical whether I should try again?

Did you not try another burning software or even different media! It's quite possible the media you are using cannot be properly read by your dvd player!
