i have a Samsung sgh-e316
and its locked needs puk code to be unlocked
it was on the go phone before Att merged with cingular
now i need the puk code to unlock so i can use with cingular
please help a brother out

I used to work for Cingular, so this is what you need to do. All you have to do is call customer service and they will give you your PUK code. The PUK code is required anytime the SIM card for some reason gets locked. If you enter the wrong code 7 times, then the SIM card is fried and nothing can be extracted from it. In the event that occurs, you have to go buy a new SIM, usually around $10 - $20. Hope this helps and please post in the appropriate forum.
