I'm new to this so I have a few questions. My friend gave me her old cell phone which is a Samsung X426 and I have been looking online about unlocking cell phones and sim cards. I don't know if I really understand it all. First of all it is a Rogers phone and I would like to go with Aliant. Can I unlock it from Rogers to go with Aliant? Do I have to purchase a sim card from Aliant for it to work? When I turn on the phone she gave me it says phone locked enter password and at the bottom it says ok or sos, what does that mean?
If anyone can help me or at least let me know if it is possible I would appreciate it very much. Thank you in advance for your time.
