Does my chip have to be flashed before I can install evox, or is installing evox the same thing as flashing the chip.

No, it's too big, etc. There is however a torrent available from xbins that you can download, open with bitlord of some torrent client and download it that way.

Slayer 2.6_final is what you want. I wish i could link you to it but that is against the rules. Although some of the newer custom made autoinstallers have more up to date dashboards and programs.
You can get it, A.I.D., or other custom made autoinstallers at many torrent sites. try searching for "pirate bay"
