Is there a multi media thingy for the ps2? like there is for xbox .

anyone know a way to play xvid on the ps2 ?

there is DVD RegionX which i think they make for both Xbox and PS2
You will have to check into what file types it plays.
There is also Gameshark Media Player
and i am sure others too.

Hey Dudes,

I'm using PS2 Reality Player for on my console and have watched a few DivX/Xvid movies on it too, you should try that player, it should work.
