Thanks! Will give it a shot. I'm trying out Flash DVD Ripper at the moment, but the quality sucks. Guess cuz it's the trial version? Can't really justify forking over $$ if I don't get a quality sample. At least Nero Vision gives the option of doing high quality 2 pass encoding. Only thing is, is that the file size stays the same. If I pull a 120mb video off of a DVD, it's converted into a 120mb MPEG with NVE.
Well, Womble MPEG Video Wizard isn't really a conversion program. It's a MPEG editor, so the quality "will/should" stay the same. As for file size, I haven't paid attention to that. I use the program for editing and then convert to DVD.
there are many choices
for example: Cucusoft DVD to iPod Converter , PQ DVD to iPod Video Converter , etc
they are all support VOB to mpeg2
