We could tell a lot more about them if we had an actual MID code from them. Here's some of datawrite's manufacturers and it don't look pretty:

Datawrite Classic Grey DVD-R 4x (PRODISC S03)
Datawrite Classic Grey DVD-R 8x (FUJIFILM03)
Datawrite Classic Grey DVD-R 8x (Prodisc F01)
Datawrite Classic Red DVD-R 4x (PRINCO......)
Datawrite Classic Titanium DVD+R 8x (CMC MAG. AE1)
Datawrite Classic Yellow DVD+R 8x (MCC 003)
Datawrite Classic Yellow DVD+R 8x (PRODISC R03) Rev03
Datawrite Classic Yellow DVD-R 1x (PRINCO......)
Datawrite Classic Yellow DVD-R 4x (PRINCO......)
Datawrite DVD+R 2.4X (PRODISC R01)
Datawrite DVD+RW ?x (PRODISC W01)
Datawrite DVD-R 4x (RITEKG04....)
Datawrite DVD-R 8x Printable (CMC MAG AE1)
Datawrite DVD-RW 2x (PRINCO......)
Datawrite Red (V2) DVD-R 4x (AN31........)
Datawrite Red (V2) DVD-R 4x (INFOSMART01.)

The MCC-003 would be top notch stuff. The Ritek-g04 is pretty good. The rest of those codes like CMC mag/printco/prodisc/fujifilm03/AML/and Infosmart would be crap!

How much is that 50 pack?

You got a website link for us to them?

for YOUR sake klendathu, i HOPE that is an error by the website as 8x media, made by MCC, will NOT carry the MCC002 coding~ LOL

if they do in fact carry the MCC002 code, these are "titanium" branded 4x dvd+r media, NOT the rated 8x DVD-R media as stated by the website, they really gotta get their MID codings straight, i'd be weary~ :)

my personal suggestion, stay away~

Datawrite are rebranded factory seconds ... you'd be better off using ... <gulp> CMCMag discs ...

I just got them from scan. The first 5 I tried to burn at x8 are now coasters. My LG GSA 5120D just doesn't like them one bit.
