ok...i have a few problems:

1.) if i use dvd decrypter to break the protection on a protected dvd and then use dvd shrink to compress the files into an ISO image and then dvd decrypter once again to burn it...how come it skips and freezes in spots when i try to play it in my PS2?

2.)if i use dvd decrypter to break the protection and i burn it with Nero or Sonic....it still skips. but if i use the original in my PS2 it plays flawlessly.


can someone please help me?

it is probably the media or burn speed. you need to use quality media like verbatim, taiyo yuden or sony (made in japan discs)also burn at 1/2 the drive/disc speed i.e. 16X burner 16X discs burn them at 8X also some ps2's do not like drd+r.
what media are you using & what speed do you burn at
