I know that you are not surposed to make threads that are already existant but i don't really feel like searching through 84 pages of them. So would somebody please either tell me the proper way to rip and split a DVD into two DVD-R so that i can retain all menues or direct me to an appropriat thread

Very simple, use dvdxcopy, nothing left to say, it does it all for you and will split the dvd to 2 dvd-r's

I have used dvdxcopy, but i don't like the warning that it gives also i don't like the watermarks it puts on the dvds. I have looked through a couple of guides for a way to retain menus(i.e. fukfulez.com), but most of these just tell you to shrink down the movie file and get rid of every thing else
