Breaker Pro problems....Is it me?!?!?!?!?!?

Ok....here is the deal. (Oh...hello to all you Brits across the pond BTW), This is my equipment:
-a PS2 Slimline.
-a Breaker Pro boot disc.
-LEGALLY backed-up copies(of which I own the originals :) )


OK......It boots Bloody Roar(psone game).
It boots Final Doom, until LOAD screen comes up then freezes.
It boots all the Ridge Racer games, yet no background music plays.

It is the most fickle piece of crap I have never wanted to see. Ok.....before you all suggest....I backed up originals....I used different cd's.......TONS od different ones......different speeds...different programs to burn them.

YET...I have not seen ONE single negative thing said about this so-called "boot-disc".
Someone help. All I am trying to do is boot PSONE back-ups on the slimline PS2....what the hell am I doing wrong.

I've got the same problem as you. Just got the Breaker Pro for my PS2 Slim with flip top. I can get a couple of games to boot but then they lock up on the loading screen or they run in super slow mode during the intro movie. A few won't even boot, they just go to black screen. Go crazy with coasters here!

which software are you using to burn your backup and what speed that you have it in?
for me I use action replay(psone)to boot up psones games on my ps2 slim.
software I use is clonecd and set the speed in 1x

Thanks for responding but there should be no way....not with todays technology why ANYONE would need to burn in 1X. Like I said, ALL of these games boot in a modded PSONE, and thats with the inferior cdrom drive as compared to the PS2!! My slimline in practically brand new so there is no question there. Also, burnt PS2 cdrs boot perfectly fine with my new Swap Magic discs I received. I am begining to think that the Breaker Pro is a bunch of freakin garbage and boot only very few games (I own about 1,000 of 'em). I have not tested them all...of course, but after about 20 no-go's and three good ones...there is just one conclusion, if no one has an idea on what to do or why this happens, then this is a defective product and should not even be on the market. I think that 4 burning progs, 3 different speeds and about 3 to four different brands of cdrs we can conclude(and I'm no rocket scientist here, just a guy with a masters degree in psychology and a pretty good idea of experimentation, that this product sucks donkey-balls. LOL.....to put it mildly.
