Hello everyone so i have a satin silver playstation 2 scph-50003 and it is a version 9, it says that it plays dvd-rw in the manual see it here :

I bought some philips dvd-rw, i burn movies not games to iso files i think and when on ps2, nothing happens, it doesnt even say "disc read error" or the red screen comes up
so can you tell step by step how to make it work ?

You need DVDR+ not DVDRW. Mostly movies burn onto DVDR- or DVDR+.
Even though it says that it reads DVDRW.

Unless you burn it wrong or something.

I agree. Even though the manual may say rw's work, they're REALLY bad for the laser, if they even play at all.
