I have a problem with my DVD drive (LG)...
Here is the situation:
BEFORE upgrading firmware for my A05 drive to 1.30, my DVD-ROM player LG was ripping @ x7... which was fine to me, knowing the ripping speed limitation of the Pioneer burner.
NOW I have the new firmware (no problem), nero 5.5.10.20, and the feakin' LG drive ripping at x2, using DVD decrypter (same with smartripper).
I tried without the A05 connected, same result.
I reinstalled nero, same result.
I have to add that now when ripping, the DVD decrypter (3.1.4.0 and 3.1.5.0) takes all the processor (AMD 1800+) and has its buffer filled all the time, and it was NOT like that before.
Both drives are on the same IDE and the burner is the master.
I'm lost here and ripping DVD's in 30min instead of 10-12min is really depressing.
NiCo.
