Good for you! I didn't know it was some kind of race but I look for quality so it takes me longer. I like to make sure it's still going to beplayable a 1 year later. Just me though ;)

I've backed up entire dvd-5's to blank dvd-5's with my athlon 3000+ and 2 gigs of pc 2700 in about 18 mins.That's with a 4x burn speed.
If it was a DVD-9 ,full disc, I don't think I would believe it.

@ mort, i hear ya the good stuff comes to those who wait. by the way 2hrs is pretty good. mine take about 2.5 hrs. i might have more running in the background, not sure.
