I've tried to search on google, but couldnt find specifically what im trying to find.
i bought a chipped ps2 a few hours, and the games i have downloaded dont perform as expected in the ps2. for example, tekken 5 works but then once in a while it will freeze. smackdown vs raw 06 doesnt start up - it says 'this disc cannot be played'. nba live 06 starts up but it goes slow as hell and is choppy.
i bought need for speed most wanted, it came with a front cover and the cd has a picture of the nfsmw front cover on the cd (not original), and it works well.
i asked the guy at the shop i bought it from, they said the dvd-r i burnt it on isnt good quality (is this the reason why?), and is screwing up the lens of the ps2 (is this possible?). I am using these dvds:
dvd-r - dont work perfectly (doesnt perform as expected)
i have tried dvd-rw - which does not work.
i have not tried dvd+r or dvd+rw.
i want to know which types of dvd i can burn them on, for the ps2 games to work.
