I have a Seagate Hard drive and HD Advanced 3. When I try to play Call of Duty 2 it freezes at the autosave screen and when I am playing X-Men 2 it freezes at random spots during gameplay. It works fine when i put in the discs its just when i run the games from my hard drive. Anybody know whats going on and how to stop it?

Try running the games in Mode 3 other than that it just might be a HDA glitch for those games.

Cant help with x-men but COD2 is known to freeze everytime you finish a level and disablimg auto save doesnt help. The only thing you can do is wait about 30sec then restart the ps2, it will still save the game if you give it enough time.

With that tutorial for Multigames did you do anything other than exactly whats said to get jakX to work?

No, I did exactly as the Multi game tutorial said and put 2 games (Jak X and SSX On Tour both don't work with HDL) and it showed a screen with the 2 games I picked Jak X booted fine played the game! Same with SSX on Tour.

Oh mine just loaded to a black screen and tried to read from the cd drive.

new there was something i left out. Where would i do that. I dont have the files on my computer at the moment so i cant see.
