Couldn't have said it better. Took me 2 hours or so reading on forums about psp games and that stuff and got the stuff transferred but then it said data corrupted, so i was about to give up when i realize you can only do homebrew on 1.5 and learned how to downgrade it and got it all done which took another 2 hours and the last hour looking for remote codes and what i was supposed to save them as apparently .txt lol Now that all that is done i'm good to go...that took me AGES....ROFL!!

Im having a problem with the remote. I loaded it, read on it and i still can't get it to work. I did everything that was in the instructions and still doesn't work. I have fw 1.5 I'm i missing something? Thanks in advane.

You guys are going to have to elaborate but your saying you've already transferred program to psp then tried to use it and it works fine but when you select remote it just gives you .. or . or something like that i really need more info as much as you can thanks for being patient lol

I put the program on my psp in all the right locations. ran the program, pressed [] and pick a remote (sony, samsung, etc) After that i select a FREQ for it, (VHGD0908.TXT)<-Exmaple. Then pressed X. The FREQ is in the upper right corner. Then pressed "O" to get the commands. POWER is hightlighted in the box. But when i press X to execute the command nothing happens. And i have done this for most of my equipment in my house. I even tried all the FREQ's for my samsung tv but nothing works... I don't know??

Ok, thanks for info, i think i know the version you have but there is a new version of it i'm pretty sure but it is at this website

Download that then you can erase old one or whatever and then go to lirc.org/remotes and see if you brand name of tv or cd player or dvd player or stereo system or vcr is there if it is click it and copy codes then paste to notepad or whatever and save it and save it to the folder of the brand name(manufacturer) of item then replace existing folder on psp that is probably empty and replace it then boot up psp then open program then open up that folder then it gives the txt file that you saved and open it then it loads pretty fast and try it out (when copying codes from lirc.org/remotes start copying at BEGIN REMOTE and end at END REMOTE something like that) and i have it working on my 2 tv's and vcr and digital cable box :)
but it hasn't worked and some at my school like 2 of them and i read that it doesn't work on HDTV to my knowledge hope this helps let me know thanks
