Ok, here's the thing, i have a few files in my posesion, .iso's to be exact. When I open them with isobuster, the only thing I get is "Track 01". I have opened many other files with .iso extentions in isobuster. Normally when I've done this there is a tree on the left, one of the "branches" being the cd, or rather the copy of the cd. i.e.- you can see the files on the cd on the right. However in this case, it only says Track 01, both on the left and right. It's a nearly 600mb file. My guess is that whomever created this iso, did it wrong, like they only created an image or something.
I extract the .bin of the cd (i also tried from "track 01") which automatically creates a corrisponding .cue file (in the same directory). By double-clicking on the .cue file Nero 7 opens up (burning rom) and from there I burn the image. from here, burning the .cue should automatically set the .bin information (the cd) to be burned right? I also know it has to be burned in mode1 (PC). however, when i open the .cue with notepad it comes up as saying it is in mode2.......so, the person who originally made the iso, did so in mode 2, thus screwing everything up, right? I've wasted 3 cds on this, all ending up seemingly black, even though they are pysically full.
FILE "CD.bin" BINARY
REM ORIGINAL MEDIA-TYPE: CD
REM SESSION 01 ; Not supported by other applications (*)
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
REM MSF: 00:00:00 = LBA: 0
REM (*) SESSION directives are unfortunately not properly supported
REM 'out there'. IsoBuster however supports them !
So am I screwed? or can I still have a way to exract/burn the information?
