I have noticed some offering personal help in the past. I am installing xenium sp. ice (solderless) into my xbox. I am going to install the chip and need to know where to go from there. I contribute to other forums and would appreciate if someone could help me through the process of setting up a modified x-box. Could be a source for many other newcomers and help save on confusing searches. Thank you.

I dont have tutor for Xenium. But it is should be simple to install with solderless adapter.

Assume you installed successfully Xenium into your xbox. You have a couples more thing to do:

Flash bios. Find the right bios for your xbox version and flash it.
You also need the autoinstaller disk to install dashboard.

Still have questions on few things. Xenium says there are two dashboards. ONe for the original xbox dashboard for xbox live and one for the modifications. As funny as I know this will probably sound, what does ftp mean. Its not it the glossary. When I install the chip I know I need to go to xbins and download the flash but which one? there are so many, is there a certain one for my chip? I would like to use the auto installer mentioned before ( seems like it would save me a lot of work). Im not confused about the hardware install just the software. I have the day off tomorrow (3-8-06) and intend on spending the entire day on completing it. Tomorrow I am going to get a crossover cable and grounding strap and get to work.

there should be one for ur chip look on xbins there should be a folder for ur chip then get the bios for ur version
