Hey

I had a DUO 2 SE installed to my PS2 a while back, and it has worked fine until now.
One day the reset button froze on the PS2, I turned the console off at the back and turned it on again.
Since then, only around half of my backup games have been working.
This is a huge problem because I review for a games website and the games I recieve for review come on backup discs... which aren't working in my PS2 as a result of this problem.

I have 2 games to review by the end of this week so if anyone could solve my problem help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for double posting but on a side note, it seems to be happening more to PAL games (my PS2 is originally a PAL console) than NTSC games.

What version is your PS2? What exactly is the console doing or not doing when it doesnt boot the disc?

I'm pretty certain it's a V9

Most games are coming up with "insert ps2 format disc etc..."
some have a delay before the "blue clouds" even start and then again, red screen of death.

They all do this?

2 have a delay - these are both on DVD+RW discs if that makes a difference.
The other half of my games work fine/half fine.

I cleaned the lens twice today, no difference.
