I am new to the whole HD thing. I recently bought a 50" Magnavox DLP. To enhance my DVD quality, I bought the Monster component cables and hooked it up to my JVC DVD player. The picture was improved, but I was still not satisfied. I went out and bought the LG Upconverting DVD player and a Monster HDMI cable thinking it would make a difference. I see little to no difference on the picture quality using the HDMI. I switch in between the HDMI and the comonent cables and I am disappointed to see no improvement. I thought the upconverting was supposed to make the DVD HD quality. Am I doing something wrong?
