Hi Guys

Can one of you help me out on how to stretch the audio relative to the video of an AVI?

I have an AVI that I downloaded where audio and video are not synchronized. The movie starts out synchronized but the video slowly falls behind audio as the movie progresses and after 2 hours the audio is about 10 sec ahead of the video.

I have been reading through several other posts here (however not all) and it seems like the solution to this problem is to "stretch" the audio relative to the video.

I have virtualDub installed and have played around with it a little but I am pretty much a newbie to all this stuff.

So how do I split audio from video and how do I stretch it?

Will I need other tools than VirtualDub ?

(I downloaded the AVI so I only have this file to work on).

File info from VirtualDub:

Video decompressor: MS MPEG-4 3688 V3
Audio compressor: Frauenhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec
