Hi guys, first of all I would like to say what a great forum this is and how useful I have found it while softmodding my Xbox.
I have trawled through the posts, but cant find the answer to my problem.
I softmodded my xbox with an old version of evo x dashboard, I have since got hold of AID 3 and I want my xbox to boot up with the evo x dashboard that comes with it.
I have installed it to E:/ but the old one still boots, is it as simple as deleting the old version? Also how do I know which version is which?
I can run the new Evo X dashboard as an application with no problems, I just want the Xbox to boot to this dashboard on power up.
Thanks for any help guys.

Thanks for the replys guys.
I need you to be a little more specific!
What do I need to ftp from one to the other?
Which drive should the boot dashboard be on?
Can I use the softmod opton in AID 3 to do the job? I was going to do this, but when I choose the boot option I wanted, AID 3 wanted to formay C:/ then install. Is this OK?

Did you use AID to install softmod at the first time? I just wonder if you use some others.
YOU can try to install evox on C drive. BUT Do not format or delete anything.

I know how to FTP, thats not my problem.
To use AID 3 I needed to softmod first, as it is on a disc.
I used SID 4 knave endure for this. The evox dashboard it installed is not very good and i want to change it for the evox dashboard that AID 3 provides. If there is a way to boot AID 3 without the xbox being softmodded, then I can always uninstall softmod and start from scratch. Or, I just need to know exactly what file to replace on C:/ with exactly what file from E:/.

You can boot AID with a non-xbox. But you know how to ftp then you can read the AID in xbox dvd drive from PC. and transfer evox dash to pc.
Yes, you just need to know exactly what file to replace on C:/ with exactly what file from E:/
That is why I told you to list files on C and E.
