how do i play burned games??

Im a newbie to this. I just had a mod chip installed on to my ps2. If i download an iso file from a torrent site (of a game that got scratched and wont work anymore) can i just burn it as an image 2 a dvd and put it in my ps2. The other posts have me confused and i was wondering if anyone could help me. Thanx

Yes, if you download a PS2 game and burn it to a DVD with ImgBurn or DVD Decrypter at 4x it should work flawlessly.
v7 w/ Crystal Chip 1.1, Boot Manager 1.8, and HD Loader v0.7c w/ 80 GB HD

sukhvail where did you get the mod chip and did you install it yourself? I was thinking about moding my ps2 but was not sure how to go about doing it.

I sent out my ps2 to norcalmods (www.norcalmods.com)...great guys there they puttin a CC 1.1 on my ps2...just shipped it out today...if u have no soderin skills keep it in consideration...most people end up sendin their ps2 like i did...rather have a professional handle it then risk my ps2 into major damage...just a thought before u go opening up your ps2

Yeah norcalmods.com is the way to go I have seen so many people try to install their own modchip and failed, I would spend the extra 45$ and get it installed by a proff. or else you might end up spending more a a new PS2. Norcalmods.com is the best installer I have seen and the cheapest.

thx, ill look in to it, the last guy that i asked would not tell me anything, so thanks a lot. just wandering what chip did you go with and does it work good? just want to get a customer review before i purchase.

can i use Nero to burn the image or is dvd decryptor better for burning the image? btw im not sure wut mod chip i have becuz i got some guy who livez by me to install one.. didnt tell me n e thing bout it

i would always go with DVD Decryptor.....and you might wanna ask that guy tht installed it abt the chip.....cuz uh.....modchips CAN be funny things......

*HINT: If your talking about downloading games and burning them illegally I suggest you just say its a copy of an already owned game, a back-up copy... Try and edit your posts before a mod sees it... :)

I don't know for CloneDVD. however, use GameXCopy. I use this software to copy PS2 games, and it works perfectly. you won't be able to find this softwhere anywhere in store, cause they got sued before. You can probably search it over the internet and download it
