can't boot ps1 original or backup on modded ps2

i have a v10 with a magic 5k6 installed, and ps2 games run fine, both backups and originals.

when i put a ps1 game in, it starts, then goes to the browser and sees the ps1 game as a playstation 2 disc.

i tried the instructions of holding the power button a bunch of times with no resolve.

can i burn the ps1 backups to a dvd and run it that way?

i just got valkyrie profile for a good price, and it's absolutely mint and i want to keep it that way.

Try holding the restet button untill the blue eject light comes on thats what you have to do for most cheap modchip and no you cannot burn a PS1 game to a DVD and make it work on the PS2
