i'm buying psp 4 my kid which version should I get 1.5 or the latest version 2.6.I want 2 download games from torrent sites and play them from a memory card.

downloading games is illegal.

2.6 cannot boot backed up ISO's, 1.5 can.

Do I sense sarcasm? I don't think a kid would know what the full abilities of a 1.5 are. 1.5 is pretty rare. Where are you buying it hkbp? Ebay?

The only real abilities of version 1.50 is to play homebrew from the likes of homemade games, emulators (such as snes) and ISO files wither they be legal or illegal and the ability to brick if anything goes wrong apart from that i don't think you can play games/isos that require FW 2.50/60 yet.
