I just found out anbout this hard drive thing and i thinks itds a cool idea. I would get a usb hard drive but I just dont understand what or not to buy.

I have a v12 ps2

Does any external hard drive work with ps2 slim?

and do I need Usbextreme or HD advance to work with slim ps2?

Also, depending on your PS2 model #, you will need either HD Advance or USB Extreme. Here is the compatible list for that: http://www.hdadvance.com/hd_advance_usb_extreme_comparison.htm
