is there a difference between backing up umd's if i have firmware 1.5? is it better if i have firmware 2.0? and can i back up any of my umd's with firmware 1.5 and play them with fastloader or should i download another programd like mph loader?

frimware 1.5 u can play isos use almost any hombrow without loaders but u dont get internet with 2.0 u can use any hombrew but with a loader and u get internet but u cant play isos so besides playing isos theres no other reason to hav 1.5

Actually you can internet on 1.5. Its called Fired-up Browser. And I think having access to 100+ games for free is a good reason to get 1.5.

well i dont need internet on psp i only want games and games and only games. so i have one small question plzzzzzzzz help me
i found a GTA LCS iso file on net of around 450mb so if i download it . i will be neading a umd emu. i do have it . so which firmware do i need to play this iso and one more question that is?
if i borrow a umd from my friend how can i turn it into iso and then put in the card ?
i hope no problem in posting my question in other people topics.

You need 1.5 to play any iso. No other fw can play isos. You are going to need mph game loader and umd emulator .8c.
As for the other question you are going to need to use fast loader and using the dump iso function and a iso reuilder like umd gen.
