Unable to boot backup with hacked Crystal Chip v.1.1

I have installed a crystal chip v1.1 with a hacked firmware v_19 on my ps2 v_14. I can still play the original disk on this machine, however, I can not seem to play several backups which I have. The machine keeps on spinning the disk but no error message shown. Can anyone help me understand what I have done wrong?

Right after modding the chip, I have installed the hacked firmware onto the chip along with the boot manager on to the memory card. I did not install the official firmware from crystal-chip first. I was wondering if this is the cause of my problem.
