Could anybody help me to find a proper ripper to rip VOB file. SmartRipper stops at 69%. Seems that there are some problems on DVD disc. But maybe there exists a technique to overcome that pit of frames and continue further ripping?

If the disc is proparly damaged I doubt you can fix this with a software. CDex can rip bad CDs using "paranoia mode", but I don´t think that anyone has implemented something like this into DVD-rippers yet. Then again the structure of a DVD is different from a CDs, so it might not work.

There are proffesional people who work on damaged CDs, maybe even on DVDs. If the DVD is very important to you try looking in your own region to see if there are any pros that could help you.

Simply cleaning the disc might work. There are alot of department stores and specialist stores that sell cleaning solutions. Worth looking in to.

I have overcame it with DVDdecryptor missing app. 50 sectors. Now I am trying to find the way to fix all streams there to have a VOB file suitable for further coversion (f.i. doe DVD2SVCD). Without fixing the streams I have got SVCD with lot of squares above the videos after that damned moment.
