I have been trying to download 2 movies and I keep getting the same error message:
Failed to read "E:\"
Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)

Can someone please tell me what this is and what I need to do to get these two finished? Thanks!!!!

Dirty or defective media. Use quality media such as TYs, Verbatims, Sonys, etc.....

Need more info in order to better help you. Be more specific and list your system's specs, what media you're using, what applications you're using, what file (AVI, DivX, XviD, MPEG, etc) is/are your downloaded movies, etc.?

In these cases, the three things you will always need to disclose: what movie are you doing? What program are you using? What media you're using to burn?

Then your system, updates, etc., and all the other good stuff.

I was downloading the DVDs to my computer and I use DVD Decrypter to burn it. I buy Memorex but it wasn't the blank DVD that was giving me the problem, it was the actual movie I was trying to download. I couldn't get it to download so that I could burn it. One movies are "The Passion of the Christ" amd the other is "The Pink Panther" - older movie, not the new one.
