How much RAM do you have and are you running any other apps when you're trying to back up DVDs? This message often occurs when most of your memory is being used by other programs that are running.
Also, how much hard drive space do you have?
This error could also mean some type of copy protection. If this is the case, you'll need to rip the disc with DVDFab Decrypter, then process the files through VobBlanker. AnyDVD will work also.

Here is a guide that will show you how to use it. Basically, all you have to do is process the files you got from DVDFab Decrypter through VobBlanker. Once VobBlanker is finished, open the files you got from VobBlanker using DVD Shrink, Nero Recode or CloneDVD 2. It'll be smooth sailing from there. No errors! If you do get any errors, then there is something wrong with the disc.
Oh yeah, since you only have about 20GBs of hard drive space, I would delete the files you got from DVDFab Decrypter once VobBlanker is finished. Otherwise, you more than likely won't have enough hard drive space to get your final ISO file.
