my PS2 is chipped with Chipmod and everything works fine with PS2 games..but i cant boot PSX games... i followed the instruction on this site : http://www.modchip.ca/install/ps2/chipmod/

but with no result! it gives me the red screen "PLEASE INSERT PS2/PSX GAME" ... anyone can help?

i don't deal with inferior chips but a failure to boot PSX games only is due to authentication check failure, check the wire that controls this on that chip.

check either the A or S point on the diag, i cant remember correctly but prob is the S pt.

for a mid range chip like H20, it can be pretty hard to solve the psx issue. i had a muppet chip on a ps2 slim and tried many times before the PSX function started working. since then, i had no problems with PSX games.

If it still cant be fixed, i suggest to get it exchanged from the retailer, or buy a top range chip like DMS, MI or CC.
