It is dangerous to delete stuffs from softmod xbox. Do you know how to softmod it again incase you mess up?

Something are very big inside folders if you can scan them through.

I'm new to it, but I think I could probably manage it!
I have AID3 SID4, and slayers disk, so hopefuly I have all the things I need. I just dont want to lose the ability to FTP, which I have read a few peolpe have.
I have made a full backup of the xbox HDD to my PC.

Something are eating up your C drive. Can you launch Evox and goto system setting? Then go down to drive C to see how big it is. I think it should be 3GB on C and 5GB on E.

I would save your dash to the E drive because it has more space

As for saving my dash to e:/, I thought I had done!

But I have started another thread on here asking how to swap dashboards as the one I want to boot from power up I can only boot from applications!

What's the hell. It is weird. All the files and folders on C are probably 1GB. Where are the free spaces? Did you missing out something else?

ON PC highlight of these and right click then select properties. It will tell you how big they are.

I think the C drive gotto be at least 1GB. I'm not quite sure. Someone else may confirm this.

So right now your C drive is 479MB + 21.2MB = 500MB.

I'm not with my xbox now, so I will check it tonight.

I first softmodded my xbox with a splintercell exploit, it installed a basic evo x dashboard, no apps, no trainers and no emulators etc.
When istalling it asked to backup c:/ which I think shadowc is? This was put on E:/ though.

Then I got AID 3 which included SID4, I proceeded to install SID4 (maybe I should have uninstalled first somtmod) this also backed up C:/ I think that is the shadowc on C:/ drive.

If you can save shadowc.img in E drive and delete shadowc.img on C drive, then the avalaunch should be ok.

Ok, quick update,
I have uninstalled second softmod, and that has made c:/ approx 312MB so avalaunch doesnt report an error. I am going to remove first softmod I installed and start from scratch with AID3 And SID4.

Can anyone help with the ftp settings on avalaunch?

I have sucessfully set up FTP with evo X but, when I launch Avalaunch, I cannot change the network seetings.
Is this because I am loading it from applications? Or is there something I am missing?
