Whats up forum? This is my first post, so here goes. :)
I just bought nero 5.5 at best buy 3 days ago, and it doesn't give me the option to burn dvds. When nero wizard starts you can see the dvd option in a faded grey, but the only option that can be selected is cd. Is there a plugin or something i have to buy to be able to burn dvds? Thank in advance for the help, bros :)

p.s. my burner is a Verbatim DVD+ producter 4 that i brought the day before i brought nero 5.5 burnung rom.

It means that Nero is not recognizing your DVD+RW drive as to why you cant select the DVD option.
Is it definitely installed properly..?
Have you at least played a DVD on it (I dont mean to patronize btw).
I notice on this page that your kit probably didn't incl. a burning software for DVD unless Verbatim CD Mastering Software is something nice (?).

Well, I am not sure about that answer, as if it is a DVD and CD writer and he does not have a CD only writer, I would imagine it wouldn't recognise CDs either, if you see what I mean!

I will look into this and get back to you :)

I fixed the problem. I downloaded the newest 5.5 update, and it worked for some reason. Thanks guys for the help :)
