im a newbie to this kind of stuff but heres a list of what i have:

Swap Magic 3.6 Combo NTSC
PS2 SCPH 30001R
Network Adapter
Seagate ST340810A
HDLoader
WinHIIP

I formatted my HDD with HDLoader and added 4 games to it with WinHIIP ...

My problem is that when I hit Play..the screen goes blank and the game never loads... what am I doing wrong?

Can you play backed up games online? If so, can someone give me a step by step guide.

well when you are on the menu press select to select different mod.theres three mod if one doesnt work the other will.

You mean Video Modes? I set to NTSC or Normal and hit Square for special boot but nothing happens.. I also tried X for normal boot but I get the same result..

What's the diference between normal and NTSC ?

ok....what you have to do...is hit select....and then click either mode 1, 2, or 3. if 1doesnt work, try 2, if 2 doesnt work, try 3....etc. that is what i did and it works like a charm....also.....do you have an internal or external hdd.....if you have an internal and you have hdloader, you dont have to use winhiip, or w/e it is....you can do it straight thru your playstation.....it takes about 30 mins.....but it works like a charm!.....that is what i do and i dont have any problems......if all else fails......i guess your crap out of luck......(or at least that i know of....)

I have an internal hard drive hooked up. How can I transfer files from PC to PS2 w/o having to take it out the PS2 and connect it to PC (IDE) ?

Nevermind. I found out how but it is extremely slow. I'd rather take out the HDD from the PS2 and install it in the PC and do all that work..
