Hi,
I have an .avi file (encoded DivX5.0 video and MPEG Layer-3 sound). Whenever I try to play subtitles (.srt) with this file, I get a green diaganal line running through the screen. The movie works fine and the subtitles also work fine but there is a green diaganal line there throughout the whole thing.
Removing the subtitle file, the line disappears. Changing the subtitle file (with that from a different movie) makes the subtitles from that other movie appear, but the green line is still there.
Using an empty .srt file there is no green line.
Finally using DirectVobSub icon in the system task tray to "Hide Subtitles" hides the subtitles but the green line is still there.

I have K-Lite Standard Codec Pack 2.70. installed. I haven't encountered a problem like this before.

Please advise.
