Hi,

I have just bought this DVD Burner:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827152058

And I was wondering, when I recieve it, is there a firmware update I should do? Because I assume they can't keep the most recent firmware on it as it sits in the warehouse. If so, where can I get it and WILL IT IMPROVE the DVD Burner in only positive ways?

Yes, it is always good having your firmware updated.It always improves everything.You can get it from here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces . Just stick this on the search NEC ND-3550A:-)
