Hey, I need to make a copy of a master. I'm using a VX2000 Mini DV. I don't have another camera to copy to, so I need to firewire it to my laptop, then send it abck to the camera with a new tape. Which video capture tool would be best for this (and second and third places as well...) I have Windows Movie Maker, Premier, Winavi and TMPGEnc Plus 2.5. Any suggestions about which to use without much loss? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It absolutely does not matter which tool you use as long as you do a direct Firewire transfer to a DV-AVI file and back from this file to tape.
