Hi,
i'm using swap magic to play my dvd-r backups,brand is sony 0xD
but recently i've noticed that when playing some backups or even some originals,my ps2 is making loud noise,same as hearing the disc spinning a lot,is this normal? How can i clean my lens,i'm not wiling to open my ps2 and i don't use fliptop.

some games do keep spinning & spinning (depending on the game) so this could be normal. bad media could cause the laser to work harder to try & read the disc. make sure you are using good media brands & your laser will not wear out any quicker than normal.
i guess to clean the lens you will have 2 get a cleaning disc if you do not want to open your ps2

don't get me wrong,i've never had a disk read error,but for instance,pro evolution soccer 5,original,seems to spin harder then other games,or could this louder noise come off of the fact that the front lid is off,and you hear it better,because for backups i'm using swap magic?
What's a good lens cleaner thing for the ps2?

the louder skipping is most of times when people say something,so speech,like in rpg's or sth.
