Can someone please tell me how to turn off subtitles in Media Player Classic? I hate having to try half a dozen players to find one that ignores them. Thanks a bunch in advance.

Just go to Options, then in Playback, where it says Open settings, just uncheck the box "Auto-load subtitles". That should keep them turned off until you want to load them later.

If that doesn't solve it, then if you use a subtitle loading program like DivXG400 or VobSub, you should look into those programs and disable any auto-loading they may do as well.
