DMS4 Pro vs. Matrix and/or Crystal Chips?

Hello there.

I've never modded any console before or anything; but I've been checking out these forums and I recently ordered the DMS4 pro from xmodd.com. The DMS4 pro seemed like a good idea, in case I wanted to get a hard drive at some point. Problem is, it keeps getting delayed week after week, and they keep telling me it'll be in at the end of next week etc. etc. Now, they've been very nice, and always offer to refund & everything, but I'm getting a bit impatient. So my question is:

Should I just substitute my order for the Matrix Infinityor Crystal chip ? Are they any diferent? DO either have HD support? Any advice/experiences with any of those chips would be appreciated.

Matrix Infinity and Crystal Chip do have HD Loader support but DMS4 Pro modchip has Toxic OS which loads all games off HDD while HD Loader loads about 90%

Crystal Chip 1.1 and Matrix Infinity are VERY good chips so if you want to load the other 10% of games which most are werid games off a DVD/CD just get a Crystal Chip 1.1 or Matrix Infinity. DMS4 Pro is the way to go for HDD though.

I have a question about the crystal chip. I read that it can't read backups without a special firmware. Where can I find the firmware, how to install it, and the features of the FIRMWARE, not the chip (which tells me nothing)?

Crystal Chip 1.1 in my opinion is better than Matrix Infinity in that it loads all backups for PS2/PS1 and imports, can force PAL or NTSC and auto patches for online games. Yes you need "Hacked Firmware" but its not like bad hacked everyone uses it cuz the real one is for dev's.

when you get the crystal chip 1.1 do you upload the hacked firmware right off the bat, or do you use the official one first, and then write over it? Also, I was wondering if cc has to be put into stealth mode to work online, I'm assuming it doesn't b/c it can autopatch DNA$. Any insight?
