thankyou for that reply as now i know it is possible to play gta without the constant annoying slow frame-rate! is there any chance you could WinRAR archive the loaders/folders you use (mph, umd, subfolders etc) and email to me? in return i hope i could help you with something, possibly pro evo 5? (i have pro 5 and all loaders neccessary)

with what CLOCK SPEED are you emulating GTA??? If you're saying the frames drop when u go by a car... well.. it may happen from time to time but i've had no problems with it...
The problem may be that you are not emulating the ISO at 333 MHZ ... they say that it is not necesary, and it will use more battery since it's making the processor run faster, but i've had no problems with it... sometimes it crashed of course, but it's normal.

thankyou to evryone replying to my thread. yes i have tried 333 mhz and it duz help alot HOWEVER it duznt get rid of the problem just reduces it! it is not just when i am in the car, the slow frame-rate occurs wen there is more than one thing on the screen (i.e car/person). wen im driving fast and cut into another street the screen slows quite abit and destroys the thrill of a getaway!!! my iso file is 856, 066 kb (856mb) and i use umd emulator then mph loader. (to all those hu undastand - i use system menu, boot.bin on, 33mhz, updater icon remove, both flash on) i have also tried all other possible combinations but none have had any effect! there must be an expert out there hu understands my problem..

thankyou JOEVA i will try a different gta iso file altho it may be a wile till i get hold of sum1 with one coz i dont know any1 with a 1.5 psp! (im unable to download it myself due to connection problems). isit possible that slow frame-rate may be down to the mph loader? i have played pro 5 via this method and have had no problems! i have 3 subfolders in my mph loader folder, is there only ment to be 2?
and PIECEFULL> i am playing from memory stick, what is hdd btw?

HDD = Hard Drive. There is an item that is on the market that gives you a 4 gig hard drive, but its problem is lag. So piece was thinking that, you had that item and that may have been the reason. I really don't know, why its going that. If you live In NY i could give you the copy that I have.
z14ul i understand about the connection problem thing, i download my games when i am at work.

i very much appreciate all advice given by everyone and thankyou joeva in paticular, also for offering me the file but i live in england so there would be no point. i have a strong feeling it is the iso file itself so hopefully once i get a new copy i can finally enjoy the game! again many thanks to all who'v replied to this thread and i'll let eveyone know the cause of the problem, if i find out that is!
