i have a scph-39001 original ps2. now, ive been looking at modchipstore.com and they seem reliable. now, would somebody please glance at this site and tell me what modchip i should get? and just as a second note, is swapmagic worth it or is that just too much trouble? ps, i dont mind taking my ps2 apart, so i dont want to have to send it off somewhere to get it modded, ill do it at home. thx

HI ive fitted hundreds of PS2 mods, In my humble opinion the best mod r the DMS4 lite or pro. Having said that, I aim my customers toward SwapMagic as there is very little needed modwise 2 the PS2 *(pulling the DVD door off)* & a SwapmMagic CD/DVD 2 boot with. SwapMagic is a hassle but only when u want 2 change games. No probs if u play the same game for hours on end. The only problem with SwapMagic is U need 2 keep the actual SwapMagic disc in good condition. This is understandable as this disc has 2 boot the PS2 every time u want 2 play a copy (in most cases every time u turn on the PS2) so obviously if u leave the SwapMagic disc just laying around u r gonna have trouble with this system.
*(I have a FREE SwapMagic door mod that doesnt require u 2 remove the DVD drive door)* interested IM me & I'll send U the pics.

ive looked at that dms4 pro modchip's official site and it said that modchipstore.com is a trusted place to get it. i just want somebody that will ship on good time, wont take my money, and will have a good quality product. if this all checks out, then im getting a modchip and i appreciate any help in advance.

Hi Ive used divineo.com to buy DMS4 many times NO PROBS Ive bought from their US site & the Japan site also the Europe site

Everybody takls about buying the mod chips...
Dont you have a local person that eslls and installs it for a small price? I do, and if its a buggy chip (which usually it isnt) they gimme money back...
