I'm getting subtitles even after I've taken them out. When someone speaks in a foreign language I get that language appearing. When a word or somethign appears I get a foreign language translation. So far I've had this happen with Flightplan and Walk the Line. What can I do to stop this?

Yes. I've reanalyzed them, and it doesn't show any subtitles being present.

your unchecking them in the audio box right?

just use your remote with your dvd player to turn them off

Doesn't work. Whenever theres a sign or an object that is in english, then i get a subtitle in french. I have subtitles turned off. Its really odd.

Try going into Edit > Preferences > Stream Selections and unchecking the "Disable all subpicture except menus and forced streams" box.

When this is checked, forced stream subpictures show up. You disable the subpictures on the main Shrink screen, so in reality checking this box adds them even when you have them unchecked on the main page.

Try it and see if it works for you. I had the same problem. This seems to have fixed it so far.
